Nor me and I'm teaching this stuff.

It isn't easy teaching something that you have severe reservations about.

Most of the GDP figures that are announced are real terms, i.e. the GDP is adjusted by the GDP deflator which is a measurement of prices. So, on a theoretical basis, if we are not in a liquidity trap (i.e. if changes in the quantity of money affect the aggregate price level) QE should not affect the GDP.

Clearly the purpose of QE is to increase liquidity based on the assumption that there is such a shortage.

The general reports of difficulties in getting mortgages, personal and business loans supports the view that more money will go towards increasing output and not simply increases in unit prices. In a period of weak demand one would not expect any significant pressure on domestic prices at least until the slack in the economy has been taken up.

I met one of the blokes that started the Telegraph's Fantasy Football in a pub in Egham, Surrey (Queen Victoria(?) - the one by the M25 roundabout) in about 1995. I beat him quite soundly at pool IIRC. He bought me and my mates quite a few beers as he was in a very good mood having just signed the deal.
