Guys if you are feeling unhappy - can you find one bit you really like and focus on that for now...my skin is awful at the moment - proper teenage bad but I'm not going to let it get at me because life's too short to be worrying about stuff
So I am focusing on the fact my hairs is looking great

Hi Suzy, nice to see you back. Sorry to hear about the singledom, maybe we should start a club.

Buffy, when you're generally a bit down, you judge your own appearance a lot more harshly. I find when things are going well, I feel almost okay about how I look, but when I'm stressed, upset, under the weather, hormonal, etc, I really hate what I see in the mirror with a passion and wonder how anyone could ever bear to look at me.
Little things work for me - making an effort with hair, make-up etc, buying something new to wear (when budget allows), the aforementioned nice/sexy/pretty lingerie. I think it's because if you take control of one aspect of your life, the rest starts to follow, or at least you cope better with the bits that don't follow."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

You are right, once I start on my holiday tasks tomorrow it will take my mind off how I look. I said out loud today for the first time that I don't think I will ever settle down and get married/have a serious relationship and I could see the pity in my married friends eyes and I just really wanted "a someone " and I hardly ever do that.
going to put together a small set of drawers and a stool. xxxxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
