****Daily Chat Fri July 24th-Come in for a natter!****

Good morning,
Woke up at half 5 this morning-still not sure WHY!!!!

Work for me today then home to pack for our first trial of the trailer tent-off to Evesham tomorrow overnight...

Still thinking of zooming down the motorway in my little car with the kids next weekend-any suggestions of cheap family accommodations? Hope everyone has a smashing day and I hope the sun continues to shine-I am heartily sick of the rain now...

Morning Bunny, I hope you do decide to come down next weekend!

Sunny here today but I've got a headache and runny nose, and both kids are under the weather, so I will be mostly trying to keep them Calpolled up and prevent them from killing each other while they are in such ratty moods.

Well, DH has just informed me he is working the Fri night for someone so if I can get a travelodge or something we'll maybe zoom down on the Fri night (me and the kids)

Or maybe just leave early Sat morning for 1 night...

Where would be a good place to look location wise?

Oh, hope the kids feel better hun xxx

Thanks sweets, I've never been to Weymouth but maybe one of the people that live down there will know what areas to look in.

I feel full of a cold and have just done that online Flu Assessment thing and it's given me an authorisation code to go and collect antiviral medicine...

I'm not sure I feel THAT ill, I only did the assessment because I've got asthma so I'm technically in a higher risk group. Think I'll wait and see how I feel later, and whether or not I grow a tail.

    Morning All!!!

    Its friday :D:D

I've woken up to find no hot water so had to have a wash instead of a shower - luckily I had a shower last night anyway - the boilers in my flatmates room so cant look but I bet its just switched itself off tbh *typical*

Snags - you prob dont have it - its very over cautious in prescribing it and if you did think you had it you'd have to self isolate you and the kids for 14 days  not fun I should imagine!

Lucky you had a shower last night!

I don't think I have it either, I've just got a headache, slightly sore throat and bunged up nose. I didn't even tick the box for 'have you been medically treated for asthma in the last 3 years', because I've taken inhalers but haven't had an attack where I've had to go to hospital, so I wasn't sure if that was a yes or a no.

It's Stu's weekend to have the kids, and I'm going on holiday in a week, so we're not having it and that's official! :D

Oh dear, I hope your OH just has a bit of a cold!

Don't worry too much about the tan, part of it will just be because you look different (any change to your own appearance seems dramatic, but half the time other people don't even notice), but even if it IS a bit dark, you're going on holiday and nobody will know you :D and it will start to fade in a couple of days!

Lou, who has confirmed that this chap has it...I am mucho confused about this whole swine flu issue....

Basically if you go online it says you have it and you get anti viral stuff....but you may must have a common cold....should they not blood test you or something to at least confirm it. It just seems so OTT...

And if you haven't got the swine flu, you take tamiflu then you really do get swine flu - will you have built up a resistance to tamiflu...?

One of our clients asked if we had a contingency plan if everyone in the office got swine flu.....the answer was that I am the contingency plan...:rotfl:
