Can't find a phone number for Fairfx

Help... I need to phone Fairfx. Does anyone have a phone number for them? Their lost'n'stolen line is less than helpful... not the best way to endear yourself to your customers by not letting them call you! Anyone got any ideas?

  • I couldnt find one either. This is the only downside i have found with them Apparently acvcording to their website they reply to emails within a day.... I have got a card with Fairfax as their exchange rates are good but it does make me feel uneasy that i cant phone them should i need to.

That is a plus for caxton - their CS via phone seemed to be good when we phoned anyway.

  • The FairFX number is 020 7329 7333. I think they keep the number 'hidden' so they don't have to have a big telesales team & that's why they always seem to have the best exchange rates.

It's an online company.. you should be able to do everything you want via their online panel, top up, withdraw, and they do have a lost and stolen line for exactly that... a lost card..
I can't think of another reason why I'd need to call someone on a prepaid credit card, it's not as if they need to offer any customer service, as long as the card works!

you can even reorder a card (at a fee) via their online panel afaik

That's fine if you are near a computer! Not sure what sort of travel you do but trying to find a pc when on the move is a right pain - surely it's better to be able to get hold of someone on the phone rather than by email. Much more efficient, particularly if you want to top the card up.

you can top up the card by text, remember to register the card in advance when online and the 50p charge is again waived till the end of the month (i think)

    Its in their FAQ....

If you lose your FairFX Card or it is stolen or you suspect that your FairFX Card has been used by someone, you must tell us as soon as you can by calling our 24 hour helpline on 01159 577420. We will then cancel your FairFX Card. If you ask us to do so, we will ask the police to investigate any suspected misuse of your FairFX Card and they may need more information and assistance from you.

Anytime I've e-mailed them I've had a reply within an hour or two.
  • Despite assurances that my FairFX card would enable me to withdraw cash in the USA, no american ATM will have anything to do with it. Having a Mastercard logo on the front isn't enough, there must also be a logo for one of the US ATM networks, and there isn't. So having bought the card principally to draw cash without using a credit card, I'm now stuck in the USA with no access to cash and no phone number for FairFX. I'm well cheesed off with them. Does anyone know a way to use a FairFX card to get cash in America please?
