Very topical for me!
This morning I was awoken early to see that a cat had swiped a large goldfish out of our pond and there was very little left. Very annoying as I had looked after that fish for years.
I will be sleeping light tonight so that if he tries it again I will get him with the hose just to prevent more pond fatalities (I have some large Koi in there too).0 -
Thats really, really sad.0

i had the cat jump over the fence onto the veggie patch when i was watering the garden.. it made a hasty retreat when i "accidently" watered the catGod helps make my veggie patch grow. He provides everything I need.. It only fails if I do NOT do as He has told me!!

I have never been quick enough. There is just one cat - the others have got the message - and he is fearless and he knows how we feel about him. My OH did manage to water him a few weeks ago but it has made no difference. He lurks in the shrubbery next to the bird station.0 -

I had a 'Kick the Granny' game ready to post here, but then I thought: 'No, David, it's too good for them. Let the Greenfingered bunch carry on shooting kittens.'
Sorry!:rotfl:0 -

Could be worth nailing some mesh over the top of the pond, we have mesh over ours and thankfully it keeps the cats out but you can still enjoy watching the fish.
