  • Personally if I was to make an offer on a house, I would check out previous sold prices so I would see that you'd hardly been there long, and this would make me think you had neighbours from hell. Especially if you were in a not so good area.

    The first things you need to do are, get a valuation and find out what the setlement figure on the mortgage is. This will give you an idea of if you can actually afford to sell. If not then all else is academic.

    Have you spoken to your neighbours about the noise? Maybe there not aware of it.

    Can you rent the property out and move back to parents? that would extend the length of ownership etc.
