I have epilated for about 7 years and do it all apart from my face but i have tried once but that was way too painful :eek: Too many fine hairs lol
It takes me about 15 mins if that to do both of my lower legs and it does get quicker over time, my hair grows back very sparse now, but i do my legs every week...but i feel once a week beats shaving everyday. My armpits and bikini line last weeks, with the odd fine hair :cool:0 -
If I left my leg hair to grow for 6 weeks I would look like a monkey! I wax with cold strips which cost £1.99 from Wilkinsons and then use the mitt thing to get rid of any I've missed and to keep down ingrowing hairs. That way I'm hair free for about 4 weeks, then I leave it a week or so to grow back to wax again. Waxing is much less painful than epilating - and less stressful on the skin!
If I shave it's stubbly again by the night and you can always see the root of the hair through my skin cos it's so dark!Debt free by Dec 2011

For legs and underarms i epilate about every 8-10 days depending on regrowth. If i was shaving it would be about every other day so for me its a big difference. Also the hairs i'm epilating are much lighter and sparser and for me thats been the biggest benefit of epilating. It does take longer than shaving, but its definitely worth the extra effort imo to never have to experience the stubbly regrowth after shaving ever again. I stick to waxing for the bikini line:D
ETA: i should mention that my underarms literally take a minute to do now as the regrowth is so little, and this is where i've noticed the biggest change.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
What is the best epilator - I had one years ago that I didn't use after one go as it hurt too much. I'm used to waxing now and think its time to give epilators another go but don' t know which one to buy. Could do with a cheap one but it needs to be good as well.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

Not sure which is the best one but i use Braun silk epil exelle, i got this one because it has 4 different heads and a shaver head, so i felt it was all in one product...but can't comment on the others..i got mine special offer though in boots 2 years ago and it was quite pricey back then
