Hey all,
Hope you are well. I'm thinking of applying for an American Express Red Card. Already got A E card through Lloyds TSB (Airmiles duo). Anyone got any comments. Easy to get or not? Good service etc????? Looking on their website I meet all their criteria.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Cheers x x

I find Amex customer service fine although they have cut back limits during the recession (not mine) and there has been a series of complaints of this forum about this.0

Can't praise them enough from my point of view, happy with limit etc, and cusotmer service is fab. Why do you want to switch cards though? I'm not clued up on the advantages of the Red.0

I was thinking of changing purely as proceeds go to a good cause. I recently got a Flybe card and thought about cancelling that, and my other two cards with Lloyds in exchange for A E Red. I use my current Amex (through Lloyds) regularly and haven't encountered any probs with shops not accepting it etc. xCurrent Accounts with Lloyds TSB and Bank of Scotland

I have amex red and have had no problems using it, have it purely for the cashback to hiv/malaria causes, you used to get presents (including an ipod shuffle) but not any more.
I have recently decided to make use of eggmoney card (which I had forgotten i had)-will save cashback up and donate every year but with giftaid charity will get more. Also the extra insurances are an added bonus0 -
They seemed really nice when I sorted it out this afternoon on the phone, so I'm really chuffed and its going to a really good cause too. Thanks for your comments xCurrent Accounts with Lloyds TSB and Bank of Scotland
