I went into Royal Bank of Scotland to open a graduate account. I discovered a limitation with the account is that they only recognise you as a student during the first course you do. I did a 3 year degree and then subsequently took a different one year course. HSBC was my bank for my student account and they recognised me as a student until I finished studying completely. So even though RBS have a 3 year graduate account, I'd only get the benefit of it for 2 years, the same as HSBC. Not very helpful.
