Natwest Student Account Overdraft

I have an unconditional deferred place (from 2008) for Uni starting in September and have a query about the bank account.

Due to having an unconditional offer would Natwest allow me to use part of the overdraft before the term starts? I am thinking about placing the accommodation deposit onto the overdraft so I can keep all the Uni payments in 1 bank account. I intend on keeping my current bank account open as a side account but using the student account as the main one.

I had an unconditional offer so opened my bank account in July last year. I got an automatic overdraft available immediately. I presume it's standard practice to give the overdraft as soon as the account is open regardless of when that is.
