Online conveyancing

Apologies if this has been asked before, I'm fairly new to the board.
My girlfriend is in the process of buying a property and I am searching around for conveyancing for her.
There is quite a difference in cost between local firms and online conveyancing.
Has anyone here got experience of online conveyancing? Are they worth using? Are they any I should avoid or go for?
thanks in advance!

You're much better off with a local firm!
Have a look on www.solicitorsfromhell.co.uk to see which to avoid but the best advice would be for your girlfriend to use someone with a good repuatation in the local area, ask around for recommendations.0 -
Property purchase throws up all sorts of issues. Being able to go in and discuss matters face to face is worth the extra cost.0
