HELP !! trying to change from talktalk to BT

I am with Taltalk but moved house and changed back to BT.
I phoned and cancelled TalkTalk 6weeks before i moved yesterday and phoned BT for my new line to start yesterday as well Wrong:mad::mad::mad:.
I have had about 4 letters from Talktalk telling me sorry to see you go it will cost you £70 to break your contract etc But i still thought they would cancel the line on the 21st my moving day.Wrong
Phone BT they cant take over the line till TalkTalk give it up Catch 22 :mad::mad:

Now BT call center are bad to because when i phone them i get passed about departments and all over the world to different call centres.
Phoned BT on the 21st to check when my line would be active and my nightmare started... Phoned bt and put my phone number in and an automatic voice tells me they know i am moving press 1 and i get through to "customer options" they know nothing and cant help they pass me on to "sales" who pass me on to "home move" who pass me back to "customer options" Got passed around these call centres so many times untill spoke to someone in "home move" who new what they were doing and helped me out. They told me engineers were working on the line but had to wait till "TalkTalk" gave them the line back,then BT would connect me.
Today still no phone line because TalkTalk won't pass the phone line over and to make matters worse i got a letter from TalTalk "welcome to your new home we will move your phone line but it will take 6 weeks"
6 WEEKS when i changed to TalkTalk they did it in 24 hours
Has anyone had this problem please help and who is going to pay for all these phone calls i am making from my friends virgin line because i dont have a phone line.
Totally fed up with phone call centres and about to start phoning again today.
Will let you know how i get on.

Are you moving within the same exchange area and taking your number with you?

Hi, Can you send a private message with any reference number or information that you have on the order that you have placed to bring your service back to BT and I will look into this for you.

Hi Onedaydebtfree,

Am I correct in thinking that you are transfering your service from TalkTalk to BT at the property you have moved out of in order to take your number to the new property? If so I'll be able to take a look at what is happening from TalkTalks side if you could post at https://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums.
