Heateam Extended Warranty for Potterton boiler - anyone used?

Further to my earlier posts, about problems with my Potterton Performa 28 combination boiler, I have obtained a quote from Heateam of £124 for one year's extended warranty. (Boiler is coming up to 4 years old and reports are surfacing of faults starting to occur, although my particular fault seems to be a minor one).

Anyone had any experience of the Heateam extended warranty service?

I think I have that. I pay just under £200 for the cover which includes an annual service. I'm not sure if you have a discounted price or whether your cover doesn't include a service.

I haven't had any problems. Servicing is done on schedule and any repairs have been done promptly.

My previous flat had a potterton boiler - from memory, they were able to diagnose the problem and fix it relatively quickly. Only signed up to them after the boiler broke and I paid a call-out charge for someone to come and read the boiler manual for 45 minutes - didn't even fix it in the end.
