Can I sell a unique item on Amazon ?

Just been having a look at Amazon, because I am considering selling some of my things there. I did not go through the full sell your item process but it seems I can only sell one of what is already on there ? How do I sell an item I manufacture myself ?
Seems to be no option to upload images or anything. Its similar to some on there but not the same.

No is the quick answer. The longer answer is yes but you will need to get an ASIN number and possibly ISBN or EAN numbers. So if it is a one off item then don't bother, if you plan to start manufacturing it mioght be worthwhile talking to them.

You need an upgraded account to be able to create your own catalogue pages. I think the upgrade is by invitation only (but I might be wrong on that - it's just they invited me, that's how I became aware of it). You'll have to pay monthly fees for the upgraded account.

Basic Marketplace sellers can only list items that are identical to existing catalogue pages. You can add your own images if you want (but a customer may not look at them) - useful if the existing image is poor or doesn't exist.
There's a link under the existing image (or placeholder)

You'd probably be better off on ebay compared to amazon for a unique item you have manufactured yourself.
