Delighted to hear that you are doing the moon walk - i have been a volunteer for the past two years and am looking forward to doing a night again - The atmosphere is amazing and i really have to say its one of the highlighths of my year and the amount raised makes it all worthwhile.
Good Luck and I wish you all the best - us volunteers also are asked to raise money too!0 -
Thank you very much - the volunteers do an absolutely wonderful job. They provide so much support on the night. It might sound easy just power walking 26 miles but I can tell you it is very hard especially when you get to the early hrs of the morning, you have had no sleep and still have hours to go.
When you are at your lowest the volunteers always offer encouragement, water, the camaraderie makes the whole thing worthwhile.
Nobody has sponsored me yet, so come all you moneysavers, if you have saved any money on this site and can afford £1 please sponsor me on https://www.bmycharity.com/blakes
I know there are so many worthwhile causes but breast cancer has to be high on the list for support.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0
