I have the latest version of Zonealarm Inernet Security Suite 6 (2006), which includes a triple defence firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware and pop-up ad blocker. My question is: What other (Free) programs can I run alongside without conflict please? e.g. AVG, Ad-aware, Spybot etc. Thanks.

No problems running Spybot, Adaware etc. but only use one firewall and anti-virus! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Agreed - I run Zonealarm along with AVG, Ad-aware, Spybot and C-Cleaner. No problems at all. Definitely only one firewall and anti virus though.Life is not a dress rehearsal.0

But isn't AVG an anti-virus?0

You have got Zone Alarm Internet Security Suite but savingforoz is using Zone Alarm firewall and a separate anti-virus (AVG). Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Thanks for the responses. Will I still be ok with spybot, and are there any other free programs worth using with my version of zonealarm please? Thanks.

On subject of Zonealarm, I am using trial version of Zonealarm Pro, along with AVG and Ewido spyware.
When I connect to certain sites, eg Ebay, I get a message in amongst the other stuff on the page saying I am not authorised to view it. It can be showing 2 or 3 times on a page. I can just ignore it and carry on but I am wondering why this happens. Also, after boot-up, a pop up appears from ZA saying that Ewido guard is trying to change my settings. I always click 'deny'. Is this right, and does anyone know why I get the other message. Not too sure of settings yet, and sometimes I don't understand what it's asking me.
Help anybody?0
