Praise for Co-op

Co-op customer services were brilliant at sorting out a problem I had at one of their stores.
Bought a top up voucher for DD and when I got home I got out the voucher to text her the code. Only finding that where the code should have been it looked like a line of tippex and the voucher had a line of black going down it. Anyway rang the Co-op store to let them know but couldn't take it back as OH had gone to work in the car so was told to bring it in in the morning. Did that and was then told it was their machine and their fault something to do with the till roll and she couldn't issue me another even though she admitted it was their fault. She rang a number, gave me a code and said I had to ring 02 myself. As I was off on a school trip as soon as I got in work I had to do this when I got home. Meanwhile OH had bought DD another voucher as she obviously needed one. Rang 02 who were very good about it and said there was no reason why the Co-op couldn't have sorted it out there and then. Was actually on to 02 for about 30 minutes while he did this. Was very long winded.
Anyway I phoned customer services and she was so lovely and said definately they should have sorted it out themselves as it was their fault and it certainly shouldn't have been left for me to do.
I did say to her that the staff at that branch are always polite and it wasn't that that I had the issue with.
Anyway got a letter back of apology from customer services saying it had been dealt with and £15 in vouchers.
So to cut a long story short...bit late now though, do ring customer services if you ever need to, I honestly couldn't fault them.

I don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.
