hehe! ive been car-booting since i were 5 i love it, dont be scared its proper good...

people dont like clothes in a pile coz they have to rott an dthey get dirty, use a rail

dont put prices on things but do have a rough idea about how much you want, tailor teh prices to teh poepl too

tell them early-birders who want to buy everything outta your car that you need soem time to set up and they can come back later otherwise before you know it youll have sold all your stuff for nowt

take carrier bags (you can pick em up at asda or tesco checkoput etc.), newspaper (if youre selling breakables) and lots of small change (including a fewfivers and at least ten pound coins- everyone buying takes a tenner!)

Be wary when you first park your car, the dealers (vultures) will descend trying to empty your boot for you, confuse you and try to get a bargain or steal from you. My trick was to park and walk off for 15mins. Dont be afraid to be aggressive and or rude to fend them off, Dealers have thick skins.
Its so much better to have some time to set up in peace, and dont worry the dealers will come back for a browse. Also as others have said keep your cash safe and watch your stuff, bum bags are not always safe my friend lost 6K at ardingley, with some scroat taking a razor to her bumbag. she didnt notice until it was too late. But dont forget have fun.
