if you buy this weeks Whitby Gazette there are a few vouchers for jorvik and the dungeon. you can get a gazette from their office by ringing them and they will send you one. Thats Whitby in north yorks

Just had a look at this as planning a trip to York. I think you have to take into account just how much you can do in one day.

A good deal but for example I think my two kids would probably do York castle museum and a river cruise, total for a family £30 - quite a lot less than the York Pass.

If you are adults and can fit in loads, then could be the way to go.

Hope you don't mind the revival. Any discounts for things to do, in York at the moment? Yorvik Centr etc.

Not fussy about what we do and it's just me and OH, no kids.

If it's the dungeons you're going to then get an ASBO. For some reason youths with ASBOs get in free... some kind of ill thought out scheme. Other then that there are plenty of things in York you can do for free, the railway museum is free, walking on the city walls, the art gallery. I'll have a look in the local paper and see if there are any coupons for you.. but it really is a gorgeous city.
