How do you install TOM TOM navigator software?

Hi, I;ve just got a new nokia 6680 smart phone and also have TOM TOM navigaotor and also a 32 channel gps device. Does any one out there know how I can install the software with the phone plus gps device (bluetooth). It's a bit of a pain getting it going??

i have that same phone and use tom tom mobile 5. what u need to do is get a card reader to connect to ur computer then u have to copy all 8 folder to the root of the memory card. but if you have other apps on your card dont overwrite the sustem folder as youll loose all of them. instead copy the ttmobile and ttnavcontacts which is in the apps folder (inside system) to your apps folder on your card.

i have a 6630 with tom tom,how can i add on europe maps please to the uk ones i already have.
Got the one i have now off ebay but dont seem to be there anymore

it works nicely with the 6680, the screen isnt too small like alot of other mobiles and i think the volume it clear and at a good volume. There isnt really alot of agro to put it on the mobile really.
The europe maps can be added to the memory card as long as you have enough space. then when your in tom tom itself you can select which map you want to display

only problem being where to get the maps in the first place as i had the card sold to me

Might be a dodgy TOM TOM software that you bought off ebay etc....

yeah getting hold of the maps from tom tom therm selfs can be expensive. i think they want about £100 each map. as mentioned im sure someone on ebay will sell the maps on a cd for about a fiver

£5 maps on a cd from ebay equals dodgy/already registered
the problem with that when you install the maps you need to go to ttcode.com
to activate

if the product code has already been activated you have no maps and lost a fiver.

Lets assume that the tomtom he has is dodgy to start with or he would have a tom tom gps with it

You just copy the map folders to the memory card the maps are cracked as is the version of tom tom so they never require activation

instalation is done by inserting the memory in the phone, if it doesnt start then reboot the phone and it should start. GPS installation is done within the tomtom settings I tried it with the gps already setup on a bluetooth pairing but it didnt work just set it up for the first time within tom tom.

If you havemanaged to buy an oiginal uncracked version of tom tom then the pirate maps are no good to you.
