Car question

Options
Hi All,

I brought my car through carcraft 3 years ago and part of the '5 star promise' is that all cars will have a full check into thier history.

We were not told of any problems and have had none until we have tried to sell it recently when it appears in 2005 the mileage was recorded at 78000 Miles but in 2006 it was recorded at 29000 miles, which is what it was when we purchased it.

Do I have any rights here? Can I go back to Carcraft and complain?

I can't sell the car because of this and don't know what to do!

Thanks in advance for your help :)

There's a motoring section you might get better replies there as there are some really knowledgeable people.
  • When you say it was recorded. How ? Who is saying the mileage was wrong?

If it is true I would say you have a case to demand compensation for the loss of value due to the mileage.

Oh I see. So you could have driven to another Tesco then?

wow, there is no need to be so nasty. I think you should try running a pub and living in Greenwich and see how you would feel about driving to a shop for ice when your ice machine breaks down when you have literally hundreds of customers waiting....what would you do - sit in the massive traffic jams for 30 minutes leaving your customers waiting or walk 2 minutes to the shop?????

Trust me that wasn't nasty nor was it intended to be

I'd love to try running a pub in Greenwich. Especially with all those luscious sailors. Tell you what: when you next go on holiday, I'll look after your pub for you. Fair deal?
