Wipe out your credit cards from pre 04/07??????????

HI, I AM NEW TO THE FORUMS SO I AM VERY SORRY IF THIS HAS COME UP BEFORE BUT I HEARD THIS ON THE RADIO TODAY. APPARENTLY YOU CAN WIPE OUT OLD LOANS AND CREDIT CARD DEBTS BECAUSE OF NEW LEGISLATION?? IS THIS CORRECT OR JUST A SCAM???
I PHONED THE NO. AND WAS SENT SOME FORMS VIA EMAIL AND WAS TOLD TO FILL OUT FORMS AND RETURN WITH CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS. COSTS AROUND £500 FOR EACH CREDIT CARD OR LOAN.

Not a scam but if you search the forum you will find loads on this. I would not pay anyone to do this as you can do it yourself with some help on this forum

ok i didnt look too hard for the advice through the forums pre hand but i have looked now and seems like you will have to pay back any amount owed anyway, is that right? just a bit desparate thats all. sorry to all for my post. i just thought it was the way forward.:(:(

From the moment you have to pay someone else to get rid of your debt....its a SCAM... and i would stay clear of them
