Marks and Spencer shoes

About 6 weeks ago I bought a pair of shoes from M&S. I tried them on in the store and found that my usual size, 7.5, didn't fit so I bought an 8. I wore them a couple of times that week but found that they too were pinching and tight so I left it a while wanting to try again in cooler weather. I wore them yesterday and it is no better, I really am surprised as for an 8 they are very small.

I still have the receipt, but how do I stand as I have worn them 3 times to see if they would 'wear in' but they are not.

Does anyone have any advice please?

Perhaps you could take them back and see if M&S will give you a refund/replacement. They are under no obligation to do so but M&S have a reasonably good customer service policy and you might be in luck.

Can't see you getting a refund or replacement on worn 6 week old shoes.

Thats what I was hoping, it seems such a shame to have spent out on the shoes and not be able to wear them
