Bit of a shock last night. Ex-wife has been offered a job in Australia and it looks like she is going and taking the girls. They are the reason I managed to give up drinking. I left the place I loved to move to this Suffolk village to be near them - a lovely place, but I can`t find a job I can do and there will be no reason to stay here after they go. Two of the girls are really excited about this as they can continue their education and the other will have to change her course but still wants to go.
My heart problems mean that I would probably never see my daughters again. Can`t stop crying and think I`d better find a lunchtime meeting today.0 -

Suffolkb, I'm so sorry to hear about your situation, that is so very sad. I hope you find a lunchtime meeting, will be thinking of you today xxStay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Suffolk thats awful, I am so sorry.
I'm sure your girls will still come back to the UK at some point to see you.
Invest in a videocam for your pc and theirs, you should be able to get a good picture with skype. And its free, so you can talk for as long as you want.
I know it seems like it, but its not the end of the world, just the start of a new chapter.

Spoke to ex today instead of getting info from daughter. She wants the twins to stay here until they finish their college courses next year, so is thinking of letting them stay in her house on their own. Youngest takes her GCSE`s this year, so could go out in the summer. My house isn`t big enough for the 4 of us unfortunately. Ex is trying to work out if the salary will be enough to fund her house here and rent a house in Oz. Feeling better anyway as the girls will probably be here for another year or more (2 of them at least).0

Hi Suffolkb
I hope you are ok
Do you have access rights to your daughters?
Can your wife take them abroad without your permission?
Hang on in thereThat's life, it's just the way it is0
