On Friday I watched Manchester passion, and cried most of the way through it so you are not alone about getting mushy about the meaning of Easter, it has always been a very special time for me. I could to go into a big long diatribe of why it's so special but this probably isn't the place to do that. Needless to say I can understand why you are feeling emotional. Don't turn your back on it or discount your feelings....listen to what your heart is telling you, you are getting good messages right now

I've just read my post and It makes me sound like a right religious nut :eek:

I'm not, I promise, but I do believe in god and I do believe that when we need him most he is there for us he is there for us even if his means aren't obvious at the time (ok I sound like a nut again )

This thread came my way, and then was highlighted to me again, when I was at my lowest. It's shown me I am not alone an that is what I needed more than anything else to know right now.

coincidence or higher power, either way it works for me.

I don't think so, I always find hymns get me emotional, especially at Easter and Christmas
