it is 6 years since the debtor had any contact in writing with the creditor or last made a payment, although DCAs are always telling people otherwise.
Sorry I cross posted - thought it was something like that - thanks!
My mother was lucky in that the people who installed her windows and debenhams store card changed there addresses and never contacted her again so she didn't pay. I just wasn't sure if people were writing to you regularly and you not paying what the situation was.
