Hi Bankkiller
Did you give your date of birth on the agreements you signed? Did you give the correct DOB or a false one?
Which organisations lent you the money?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
17 years old!........either you lied..........or the CC co's weren't doing their job right ( surprise, surprise).
Or you are a ringer, sorry to suggest that if you're genuine but we do get the odd DCA employee crawling out from under their slimy stone...
:D stay wonky

That's not good, in fact it's fraud!

I really don't know what to suggest!
Contact Citizens Advice Bureau and see if they can advise you, stick around on here too, I'm sure there will be others who can suggest something!

My advice would be to keep your head down, and continue to try and pay your debts off.
You dont really want to get into trouble for fraud........you pay the debts off, they will be none the wiser.I used to be Snow White, but I drifted.Mae West

I'm wondering how this was possible...I can understand how you may have got away with this with one bank, but credit cards???And store accounts? Is it really that easy to pull the wool over these companies?I thought they applied some pretty stringent checks.
Doesn't a credit reference check involve identifying you on the electoral register???Our challenges:
* Aim: Debt-free in 2010
* Debt 01/05/09: £6770.33p D :wall:
* Progress: 22/09/09 : £4381.02p D:j0 -
Don't forget that a minor can appear on the Electoral Role in the year before they are 18 with their date of birth appended. As an example my eldest's birthday is 12/8. The Electoral role is prepared in October/november, so she appeared on it just after her 17th birthday, so that if there was any sort of election between August (when she would hit 18) and October, when the new role prepared, she would be able to vote. The only thins I'm not sure about is whether the birthdate is shown when a search is carried out.0
