Just got a call from VM saying that someone made a call from our phone to Asia last Monday lasting 90 mins and costing £60+ :mad:. Yes I know hubby made a call to Asia then but it certainly didnt last 90 minutes. Probably about 30 minutes. Only thing I can think of is that he didnt put the phone down properly afterwards . :rolleyes: Has this happened to anyone else. I thought the phone companies cut the connection if they dont detect activity for so many minutes

Yes unfortunately:mad:. He's had the talk from VM about paying something like £1.50 a month extra and can get his calls to asia for 6p a minute.

Wish they had told us about that ages ago :rolleyes:. And I really wished they had cut the phone connection after say 10 minutes of inactivity :mad:

Lesson learnt the hard way .

Have a look at http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php for your intl calls which you can use on Virgin Media via the 0808 freephone access number. Virgin dont raise a charge to call it.

Your see its also cheaper for other types of calls.
