Grandson with Aspergers

My daughter has been granted a residential order for my grandson (her nephew) who has been diagnosed with Aspergers. I read on one of the threads about a cinema pass but can't find it now, she is looking at things to do during the hols which are not expensive or which have concessions because of his aspergers, he is 12. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,
Does your daughter claim Disability Living Allowance for her son?
If not, she should apply immediately as this will entitle her to additional help and funds. The cinema exhibitor's association card is available to people who claim DLA.
If you look on the National Autistic Society website (nas.org.uk) they have a section on benefits.
I'm sure other people on this site will be able to offer some advice too.0 -
