email problems

I recently syncronised my orange email account with microsoft outlook express. The problem is that i am able to view all my emails but am unable to send them. An error message saying the client host rejected:access denied.
Anyone got any ideas??

Sending from phone or from outlook express?

Sometimes the outgoing smtp server requires you to login, usually you can set an option to use the same username/password as for the incoming POP3 or IMAP server

im sending from outlook express on my desktop
(sorry i know i accidentally placed in wrong board, cant seem to move it)

Have you checked the outgoing server settings. I don't use outlook express, but there should be a setting like "outgoing server requires authorisation" which you may need to select
