My hsband is trying to claim his bank charges back like most of us !
I am long term ill on incapacity benefit for 2 years now and am also claiming.
DUe to the loss of the second income the money coming in is just not covering the ourgoings and we are incurring hundreds of pounds each month so tried under the hardship - it is quite clear that we are in trouble.
We do not even have credit cards - one small loan - still cannot make the payments. !! WHY because of the hundreds that they took off us in charges over 2 months whilst I was waiting for my benefits to start. Was a rollercoaster ride that keeps going downward gathering pace !
Anyway we have today received a letter - bog standard chucked out by a computer and not relevant in any way to our specific situation - what a surprise........ here we go again only this time I may not be quite so polite !

Don't lose your cool. If they think there's a chance you're letting this get to you, then they might just dig their heels in a bit more out of spite.
Follow the advice on this site, keep to the standard letters and don't let them annoy you.0 -

What did it say because the contents may be important as to whether we can help and how we can help.
