Lots of input on foam toppers but any comments on the feather kind?

Not sure about feather, but I have a synthetic one (synthetic filling, but cotton outer) thats like a duvet with a fitted skirt which goes on your mattress under your usual fitted sheet. I would not be without it - it is so comfortable. It is also machine washable as long as you have a decent sized drum (ours is 7kg and fits no probls). It only needs washing about every couple of months. I would definately reccomend one and wouldn't be without mine.

I have a feather topper from QVC's Northern Nights range. Very comfortable and warm in the winter, but I've even been able to use it this summer which surprised me. You do have to fluff them, even though the one I chose is 'un-chrushable', but it only takes a minute.0
