I don't want to join a board where there is a private area for the select few to chat and gossip and maybe others might not either once they have been made aware of this fact. It's only fair to make sure people are aware though so that they can then make the choice isn't it!:beer:0

Not true! You could certainly pm with the amount of admin staff you have on there.
If you don't like people questioning if/why you have something to hide, then why did you not just set up a completely new Proboard?
I hardly think that sending that amount of pm's at a time, then getting back replies from all of them is an easier method of communication than posting on a thread. It would take up far too much time. This is why most proboards operate this way and we choose to. If any of the members want to see us openly discussing things like 'can someone change the happy birthday banner tomorrow' they are welcome to, although I think they possibly do not care and would find it somewhat spoils certain things.
There is a comments and suggestions area for the members. If the members wish to offer comments and suggestions they may.
I have no problem with any questions, nor am I, or any other members of the boards hiding anything whatsoever.
The site is open to ALL MSE members and unlike most sites, the members have full input. They may do so at any time and their comments and suggestions will always be taken into account.0 -
hmm, I was just about to join, but now that you have brought to our attention the fact that there is a private area for a select few (to chat, share glitches..and perhaps keep them to themselves?)I don't think I will bother:rolleyes:it's either open to all, or it isn't. And it sounds like it isn't to me!
The site is open to ALL MSE members. There is an Admin area for Admin related matters. All Boots related matters are found on the Boots Board and not in any other area.0 -

Fillings, et al, thank you all for your comments and suggestions and ideas, etc on the Boots Refugees Proboard.

Awryholes, I didnt expect anything else of you. You seem to have the attitude 'if you dont like what we say, then we are not up for discussion about it'. That might work on your proboard, but it doesn't work on mse!
Not a very good approach for somebody who is admin over there.
I'm also one that will not be joining their pro 'us and them' board.0 -

Oh that's good then as we aren't really interested in your comments defending your actions anyway!
You know what you have been discussing in your 'little' private area and I wonder if you can say 'hand on heart' that you have not been dissing mse people by name on there - if you can 100% say you haven't then fair enough - but can you..................:rolleyes:0 -

You say 'most proboards' operate this way - well I belong to several proboard forums and none of them operate that way so I think it is a sweeping statement to say most when you mean just yours!
Are you saying them that if 'non Admin' members want to see the chitter chatter section they are quite welcome to??0 -
Dear Fillings,Spawndan Crawling, and all other AE
Do you want to be part of my F&F? I desperately need ones like you.
Yours sincerely

I think its very sad to see somebody who is an admin on a board, on here recruiting members, and quite frankly behaving in a very childish manner.
I do believe Croydoncrawlers questions to you have yet to be answered. Legitimate questions I might add.0 -
