Hi all
i have about £5000 to put away. i need an account that will let me have a direct debit to my current account each month as i need to use this money as income for the next couple of years. is this possible on a savings account?
i'm also not a taxpayer
Thanks
Lois

Hi lois and welcome to the site
.
First Direct e-savings will pay you 4.89% monthly and is the best rate. But don't forget that they don't pay you any interest in the month you close your account.
If you are retired then the Coventry sixty saver plus is the one for you, paying 5.13%.
Age discrimination. Dontcha just luv it
