My daughter worked in Eire for a while.joined a Jackie Skelly gym...after 18 months or so returned to uk and cancelled her membership as per terms and conditions.They took another payment from her card.contacted barclay card, sent them all the cancellation evidence (recorded delivery receipts etc) and they refunded the money.....blow me down next month same thing happened and barclaycard let the payment through.Obviously we are fighting both barclaycard and the gym but the purpose of this post is to warn anyone in ireland to beware of jackie skelly gyms, they are unprincipled , their staff lie constantly, they claim never to have received correspondence (even signed for deliveries!) and never return phone calls...check google for other people's experiences.if they try to take more money I am reporting them to the Police for fraudulent activities.Any one else in this position?

Ha my OH is in an interview right now for a receptionist job there. I knew they were dodgy because they want her to go out and promote their products in a retail park, certainly not in the job description of a receptionist!

Anyway it looks like they have continous payment authority on the card, which is very tricky to cancel, best thing is to cancel the card as lost and get a new one. They can't take payments as they won't have the right card number.
