lost digital tv signal overnight?!

last night the tv was fine but this morning it has no signal for any channel... which seems a bit odd. i've tried searching for all channels again and it can't find any (tv or radio!). no bad weather last night so i can't imagine the ariel got damaged (and i'm close enough to crystal palace anyway that even without an ariel i can get a fair few channels).

any suggestions?!

Have you tried resetting? i.e. switching off at the mains and on again.

yeah - no joy! it recorded something at 1am so i guess things went wrong after that. i didn't have time to check if my old digibox worked (which had problems with a few channels so i changed it) but i'll do that tonight. just annoying really! i like watching the news for 5 mins with breakfast!!
