Unfurnished MQ

Options
When we moved into our MQ in April 2007 it was part furnished, we have over the last 18 months purchased our own furniture, piece by piece it has been collected therefore everything is now ours, however on my husbands pay slip we are still paying for a part furnished property.

How to we get it changed?

Speak to the people who deal with the furniture (Barrack Stores) and they will notify the housing people to get your status changed to unfurnished.

Get them to confirm it in writing/email - from experience they can 'forget'

The guy that takes the furniture away keeps saying we will drop in a revised inventory, it has never arrived.

I will have to the get my OH on this when he gets home.

If your OH is away on Ops speak to the Unit POC or Families Officer/Adj or equiv and get them to chase it up for you
