There is a product called Xylitol which is pretty good but you don't get much for your money.
I also like Splenda but again it is quite pricey.A woman will forgive and forget but she won't forget what she's forgiven!0 -
Splenda - no asparteme which also means you can use it in baking.0

I was buying expensive pots of splenda, then when i compared the ingrediants(usually one ingredient) to the shops own granulated sweetners you can pick the same up for less than a pound, to answer your questionJune: 50% off Pizza Hut dine in Voucher - saved £20:)13Jul: Free Screening of The Proposal (Hilarious!):)Galaxy Book Club Win:)14/Jul: Mars Football Win (will keep):)15Jul: Galaxy Book Club Win, 2 Mars Football wins, Mars Cricket ball - (will donate), Mars Rugby Ball (will keep).0

Table sugar is arguably 'healthier' than chemical sweeteners - which have side effects such as excessive thirst and diarrhoea  - these side effects may be the body's way of trying to reject or remove the chemical.
The healthiest thing you can do is slowly reduce the amount of sugar and salt in your diet (read labels!) until you taste buds start adjusting, and you can appreciate delicate flavours such as avocado. If you must sweeten cereal try Xylitol or Fructose both of which are natural and extracted from fruit and veg. The best artificial sweetener is Sucralose as it's chemical structure is related to sugar. AFAIK stevia is not licensed for use in the UK.

Stevia can only be sold as a dietary supplement in the UK. Expect that to change shortly though with Coca Cola bringing it in to sweeten their drinks. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0 -
Recently I bought some splenda brown sugar bags for baking for 59p (iirc) from home bargains:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

I love dates with cornflakes but I'm diabetic and dates are high in sugar.
Still it's not that often I have it.A woman will forgive and forget but she won't forget what she's forgiven!0
