I use stevia, but that's not ideal for cereal, the next best alternative IMHO is erythritol which does not affect insulin levels. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0

Splenda or any other low calorie sugar substiute is not healthy..in my opinion.
Hasn't aspartame (major ingredient) been linked to cancer?
If you are just looking for a healthier alternative and not too worried about calories, then I would go for either honey or unrefined brown sugar.
I read somewhere that refined sugar (white granulated sugar) is actually quite poisonous to the body!!! Don't know how true this is, but it is closely related to obesity. When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!0 -

Try Googling Splenda and Sucralose - I would never touch either of them.
Aspartame is notorious for the damage it does too.
I use Fructose and honey, and sometimes unrefined brown sugar, in small amounts. You can get away with not using a sweetener in e.g. porridge by adding a banana or dates - something naturally sweet.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?
