Okay.. I've changed my ISP from BT to Talktalk. Weirdly enough my outlook was still downloading emailing via BT???
Anyways.. Norton picks up this today.. now I've updated, scanned and deleted temp folders, but every time I got in to outlook I'll get an virus warning.. not sure what to do now??

okay.. done that.. but still get the message.. only happened in the last 4 hours.. deleted all those emails and still get it? Worth doing a system restore? Message is that it detects a virus but can't delete it!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 092

to get into safe mode and scan with Nortons to see if it can delete it, if not then follow ALL the steps in posts 1 to 4 of that thread and download and run all the software mentionedEx forum ambassador

It's saying it's a temp internet file it can't delete..

you need to be in safe mode, here with pictures
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial61.html
or
To start the computer in safe mode
1.You should print these instructions before continuing. They will not be available after you shut your computer down in step 2.
2.Click Start and then click Shut Down.
3.In the drop-down list of the Shut Down Windows dialog box, click Restart, and then click OK.
4.As your computer restarts but before Windows launches, press F8.
5.Use the arrow keys to highlight the appropriate safe mode option, and then press ENTER.
you want the option highlighted below, then scan with your virus software to remove the trojan. when finished shut down the PC like normal and let it restart. If you get the menu below again then choose to boot windows normally.Ex forum ambassador
