Missing icons

Using IE8, when I click on my list of favourites most of the icons eg MSE have disappeared. This seems to have happened since I downloaded the latest version of itunes today. Anybody any idea why this has happened and how I can restore them?
A problem shared is a problem multiplied.

Thanks. A few have come back but most haven't, even though I've clicked on them and they've opened fully. Any more suggestions?A problem shared is a problem multiplied.0
