Barclays breech data protection???

Im currentley claiming hardship with barclays who have made a goodwill gesture payment but its only half of what i have asked them to repay so i intend to pursue the matter further with them. Was just wandering wether i could use this to my advantage....
...in one of the correspondence i recived from barclays
they have som how mistakenly sent me somebody elses correspondence to a hardship claim they are making.....i now have this gentlemans name, address and account number lucky for him im a honest person and will destroy these documents. but before i do
i was wandering if i could use this to my advantage with my claim...ie advise barclays of there mistake and politley let them know if i have to go to the FOS i will also report them on this slight infringment on data protection wich im sure it is... what do you guys think?

Missed this bit on your other thread but the answer is that it will NOT help you with your claim unless a breach of the Data Protection Act 1998 contributed to your financial hardship.....it didn't.
