At the moment on ebay it's better to list cds' as a job lot, and then you can charge the relevant amount of postage for them as singly i don't think you can charge for p+p.

No, i believe you can charge up to £2 per listing for p+p.
    Saving for a deposit: £11,000 / £50,000 (22%) :)

I was wondering if anyone had any experience of Music Magpie as I have quite a few CD's and was going to give them a try.

I have used them twice now, without any problems. I have sent them about 140 CDs and made just over £200. These include some rare-ish soul music ones that I got the maximum £3 for, while others just went for 30p (with others falling somewhere inbetween).

You will need to send them in your own parcel if sending fewer than 100 and they send you address stickers to put on (freepost address).

What I did was burn my CD's onto my external hard drive on mp3 format, then I still have the music but gain the space and some extra money.

Musicmagpie seem to be on the silly side with offers, never offering more than £3 and then on CDs that can be over £20 on Amazon.
Personally I'd check with Amazon and see which can get decent amounts of money and those that can't. Sell the more expensive ones on Amazon and then group some of the lower price ones and sell in wholesale lots on Ebay (where you can add postage).

That's fair enough. £3 can be abit low. However, I was looking to get rid of quite afew so decided to use them as it was the quickest way to do so.
  • I think Topcashback are offering 10% cashback for musicmagpie and Quidco 7.5%. Every little helps!

A quick way and achieving more would be to list them as a wholesale lot on Ebay as someone above says.
