Paypal may withold funds?

I've just uploaded a few items using Turbo Lister and got a warning that Paypal may delay the settlement of funds to ensure smooth transactions!

Has anyone had this before?

I've got 100% positive feedback and stars, my accounts are all verified.

This isn't the same as if you've got low feedback or if you're a new seller.

Anyone got any info?

I'm just a bit concerned, I'm having a massive clear out and have 100's of things to get rid of and now I'm worried that I'm not going to get my money.

The items have all been started at 99p and nothing of high value or in a dodgy category.

i have just had this aswell but annoyingly they have held money owed to me from a seller who gave me a refund, makes no sense.
But from what i was reading, feedback effects it and so does the catergory you are selling in, if they have had lots of disputes in certain catergories they may hold funds until the transaction has been completed and feedback left.

I dont know whats going on with paypal lately but i have had to phone and email them so many times over the last 10 days, they hold money, wont let me pay by bank transfer one day but they will the next, they paid people who i never even dealt with, they have become a nightmare

I think its just a standard message that has started appearing. I havent. I've been a seller for years and never had funds held on my main business account and this message has just started appearing in the past few weeks when I list certain items. I think Soolin mentioned that she has had the same thing

Yep I get the warning on my newest selling account (300 feedback) everytime i list anything electrical or in a mobile phone category, even if it is just an ipod case for instance that my son asked me to sell at 99p!

Despite the warning I have never yet had funds held though.

    holding how?

What does it say by the transaction, does it not show at all in the balance, or is the refund in particular just not cleared back again?

it just says temporary hold, my account shows the £4 and £1 going in then £5 being deducted, saying temporary hold, under payment status it says "placed"

That's not a standard hold then, the OP here is talking about the 21 day hold for items in a high risk category.

I'm not sure what they are doing with yours, double check your spam filters see if there are any paypal emails lurking around to explain this. Make sure your account is fully up and running as well. If you can't find anything then email paypal and ask.

There not exactly quick of the mark its always worth phoning or emailing then they release the funds quicler. They seem to have problems with the word immediatly e.g We will immediatly release funds after positive feedback left or 21 days has passed (it normally takes 2 or 4 days unless you hassle them(
