However I notice it says:

So does this mean after three months I'll be paying interest on the lot?:undecided

If you make a purchase on the card you will pay interest after 3 months of opening the account. If you transfer a balance you will pay interest 16 months after opening the account. Never make a purchase on a card you transfer a balance to as your payments will go towards the balance transfer first and your purchases will be left gathering interest.

What you would do is get the Virgin money card, transfer £1,200 to your credit card, they'll charge you £36 fee (2.98%). You then transfer £2,000 to your current account, they'll charge you £80 fee (4%). You'll end up with a balance of £3,316, your minimum repayments will be 1% or £25 whichever is greater.

The total fees will be £116, but you'll save about £60 in interest by moving your card balance off the 18% onto a 0% card.

Repay it at £ 300 per month and you'll clear it in 11 months.

Make sure you don't miss any payments and don't spend on the card after using it for your balance transfers.
