Postage costs for multiple purchases-Help!

Hi
need some advice please! If I sell 3 items to one person am I obliged to give reduced postage. Thing is, Ive got the items all packaged up in advance so if they ask me to reduce postage Id rather say no as all the items are packed and ready to go in sealed envelopes (trying to be organised!). Just not sure if Im obliged to. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

You are not obliged to combine postage and buyers should ask before they bid and never assume you will do so.

As long as your post and packing is fair and you don't 'make' money on it or combine parcels and don't discount you should be fine.

Thanks soolin. im selling 3 items at £2.50 (will cost me £2.14 to post each. They would be cheaper to send as one item but as Ive already spent money on envelopes and packaging I dont want to have to unpackage them all. I think Ill just say no and see what happens. Dont want to do anyone out of money but i guess they should have asked me before they bid on all 3. Thanks for your help.

You don't have to, but it could reflect in your feedback.

Could you not put the three separate packages inside a strong plastic bag (like a Next delivery bag) and combine as one postage ?
