Stall Insurance

I am hoping to have a stall at an event in August but have to get public liability insurance for the 2 day event. I do not have a business and this is a local vintage car event where I will be selling old books and parts/tools all second hand used goods from our family. Does anyone have advice how to get this and cheapest, thanks so much.

Get it from the National Market Traders Federation. www.nmtf.co.uk it costs around £70 to join and you get free PL Insurance and it is annual membership. You will get discounts on lots of other things as well - you'll get a booklet telling you what you can get. Also you can get free membership next year if you use their broker for Insurances - my transit insurance was really cheap with them.

If you ever need a merchant aco!!!! or if you wish to take credit cards in the future you can get the set up fees reduced to £0 so always mention that you are a member and whether you can have a discount.
