  • thank you Nasa :D
  • Oh...one more thing. If WTC thought I was on income support while paying my partner £71 pw and now I tell them I wasn't on any income whatsoever...will this make a difference to the amount my partner gets in WTC? Will it increase d'ya think.....cos that might help with paying back the income support and housing benefit/

you should really seek advise from a benefits advisor..
[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.
    [/greenhighlight][redtitle]
The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that

if you were on IS/IB and your partner moved in and was on WTC, you may find that he would not of been entitled to it or all of it so you may have to repay that bit back...
Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?

But he wasn't on WTC when he moved in. He claimed WTC saying I was on income support....as I thought I was....and they paid him £71.00 as a joint claim. I wrote to Income Support to tell them he was getting WTC but heard nothing from them.....now and only now....do they get in touch. I thought my Incapacity was safe when WTC paid my partner. sheesh! It's all a muddle! Thank you Paparika.....another thing to think about though.
