Anyone know a decent place in Leeds to get my car MOT'd (anywhere in Leeds). Is due next month and dont want to get ripped off.
Have had a search but the results were from 2007 and thought things might have changed since then.

If you're anywhere near the LS4/LS6 area, I highly recommend Beechwood Garage next to Burley Park train station. They have done both the cambelt and brakes on my 206, and serviced it too when I bought it, and whilst they aren't the cheapest, they're very reasonably priced and have great customer service.0

I usually use J Peters on Osmondthorpe Lane near Halton Moor, just off York Road (A64). They charge £45 and the retest fee is half. Quite expensive compared to the cheapest around but usually good and they don't do any work - so they aren't telling you things need doing because it gets some work for them.
I've been told Leeds Auto Centre on Easy Road, Cross Green, are good and quite cheap but have only ever used them for tyres myself and they were great then.
Bear in mind that the poor ones may not even spot some MOT fail points, as my sister found out recently.0
