Selling car from France?

Hi (first post yey :p )
Anyways, I'm moving to France on the 20th, but as I bought my car on finance (before I found out about this site mind) I can't keep the car over there for more than 60days. Therefore I either need to pay almost £3k to terminate the agreement and hand the car back or sell the car for £9622.03.

Obviously it will be quite hard to sell privately from France and I wont get anywhere near the 9.6k I need to cover the rest of the finance from a French car dealer.

I have heard there may be a(or more) company(s) that would buy my right hand drive and sell on in the UK themselves any one know of such a company?

or can anyone else think of any other options?

BTW its a bmw mini cooper, 04plate, chilli pack, climate control

What have you been offered by a car dealer over here? Sell it before you go. Or phone up BCA auctions and ask for your nearest branch ask them how much they think it willl fetch, it will be sold within a week.

Then pay off the HP and take any shortfall on the chin.

  • Cool, will see what the bmw garage closest to dover will give me for it. as I will be living just south of paris so not all that far to go to sell it. After going to paris with my stuff it will have done about 31k miles so getting at least 9K will be better than paying out £3K.

And they have these two up for sale, which gives you another two examples based on model and mileage of what the going rate is. :)
